Chris Higley joined Eisenberg Cutt Kendell & Olson as a law clerk in 2013 and stayed on as an associate attorney after graduating law school. He became a partner in 2020. He practices almost exclusively in plaintiff personal injury cases, including product liability, medical malpractice, insurance bad faith, and general negligence. Chris has experience at all phases of litigation, from the pre-litigation demand phase through trial. Amongst other trials and arbitrations, Chris was second chair on a construction case that resulted in a jury verdict of over $2 million and was the first chair on an arbitration that resulted in a six-figure verdict.

Since joining Eisenberg Cutt Kendell & Olson, Chris has worked on numerous cases that have resolved for six, seven, and eight figures. Chris primarily litigates cases in Utah. However, he has litigated in several other states, primarily California, Minnesota, and Montana. Chris has drafted significant portions of briefs submitted to the appellate courts of Utah and Minnesota.

Chris served on the Young Lawyer’s Division executive board as a liaison for And Justice for All, a local nonprofit. Chris has also taught at various litigation-related CLEs sponsored by the Young Lawyer’s Division.

When Chris is not at work or volunteering, he enjoys spending time with his family and watching football.
